95 ezgo gas medalist help
Does anybody know what the white wire is that comes out from inside the engine shroud?
Just bought the cart and the guy told me it wasn't firing so I bought and installed an ignitor.... Both plugs are firing but I don't know if it's enough fire or if it's on time, I've even tried some starting fluid in the carb while turning it over and nothing, not even a pop? Is there a way to check (test) the pulser coil, ignitor, and coil on this thing with a test light or volt meter? Any other things that may be stoping it from firing off? Re: 95 ezgo gas medalist help
If it has the 295 robin 4 cycle the white wire is for oil pressure light. Have you checked the valve clearance? Set to .004. Also, check the compression after setting valve clearance.
Have you cleaned the carburetor? Hope this helps. |

I adjusted the valves to .004 still won't crank, does anybody know what psi compression I should have and can this 4 stroke engine be rebuilt if needed?

Re: 95 ezgo gas medalist help
Here is a compression test procedure. Yes by all means the engine can be rebuilt. Here is also a link to the engine guide.
