Default Anyone ever pulled a driven secondary clutch

I have a 05 workhorse mpt 1200. How the f$&k do u get this driven clutch off the rear end with out breaking it. I done broke two clutches like this trying to remove them. I called ezgo tec and they said either it has the threads on the inside like the dive clutch, and can use a clutch puller. Or it's the one I have to beat off.lol. I do belive I have to beat it off. I looked for threads and none was there. They told me to use a pickle fork (aka ball joint separator). I haven't done that yet, just seeing if Yall have a better idea than me?

I have also seen a special tool that looks like a wheel puller on ebay, so I tried using a 3 claw wheel puller and snaped the cast clutch like nothing. Any one ever use this special wheel puller? It looks like a big black C with a bolt in the middle with a spacer that goes in the hole before u screw it down. My 3 claw wheel puller only grabbed the outside of the clutch, could b the reason for it snapping. This tool looks like it grabs both sides of clutch.

first off check the clutch first to see if it will walk off once the center bolt is removed, sometimes they will just slide off the splines. I know im the luckiest guy on the planet to have never had one stick or break when removing them. but i also insure that the next time i or someone else has to pull it that their is no chance of it sticking by using never sieze.

I guess I'm one of the unlucky ones. I only pulled 2 and both of them broke. Update use some penetrating oil, spray inside and out. Come back a hour later and use the pickle fork. Worked well. To bad I broke it before hand. One thing I did learn if u see coin like threads on the inside the cluch, closest to gearbox. That is part of the clutch and go behind that. The actual spline holding it on has a rige on the end so the pickle for can go on. Here R the pics
