Default 244 cc Teardown

Im new to this forum. I started to teardown my 1980's EZGO 2 stroke 244cc Engine. It wasn't getting fuel when i purchased it so after looking online its said to change crank seals. So since its never been rebuilt Im deciding to do a complete rebuild on the engine. Im stuck at the moment trying to remove the pulley off the crank? Any tips or maybe I'm not seeing how to do it properly.

This tells you how to remove the center bolt, and push it off against the crankshaft.
The only thing I would say differently is use a brass, or aluminum rod to push against. You don't want to mess up the threads on the crankshaft. An air impact makes it much easier.

Did you get the job done yet? I just took a look at this thread and see you did not get any more replies, hope you are done. If you are stuck, post here and will see if I can help.

Never did, I bought a different cart. The crank was broke on the one end also. Figured by the time i get a whole rebuild kit i could find another cart. So both the same one in running condition. So have parts cart.
