Battery keeps dying
I have a 1983 Ezgo 2 cycle. I was told t just needs a battery. Anyway, it runs great until the battery dies. I have checked the starter/gen it is pulling fine. What I can not seem to figure out by looking at wire placement is how the battery is able to charge. [I] do not see any way that the battery can be charging with the wires in the current placement. Can some one PLEASE explain to me how the wire should be before my kids shoot me because the cart battery is dead again?

Re: Battery keeps dying
Since your battery is connected to the starter/generator to start the cart, the same would be true to charge back to the battery. Sounds like you have a bad cell or 6 in the battery and since the generator is outputting fine you just need to replace the battery.

Re: Battery keeps dying
Your battery may be to big. Is the battery for a golf cart or a car?
