Default gas engines?

I'm looking at buying 2 carts that have been setting for a while with gas engines, question is once I clean the gas tank and fuel pump and carb , if they don't run is there anyone that rebuilds the engines?

offered $300 for the pair of carts. they will let me know this week..

If they don't run after you clean up fuel system I would check for spark before thinking about rebuild.

If they are 4 strokes, pull the valve cover and pour oil in the port on the fan side to prime the oil pump. Might as well check valve adjustment while your in there.

What model years are they? I'd be interested in one of the top kits if it will fit an 89 Marathon.

nicer one is a 4 stroke and looks like it might have a lift kit.
