2003 TXT Engine Runs Perfect, Won't Move Then....WHAM
I have a 2003 TXT Gas that up to a year ago ran better then perfect. The problem has started slowly but has become worse. When I push the accelerator the engine revs normally but the cart does not move. As the engine speed increases it eventually engages and jerks either forward or reverse depending on gear position. The jerking part is now pretty bad. I searched the forum assuming I am not the first with this problem but can't seem to find the proper "search terms" for anything that helps. Thanks for any assistance.

Start searching drive clutch, driven clutch, primary clutch, and secondary clutch.
You'll notice that the theme here is clutch issues. Measure how wide your belt is too. I believe 1 3/16" is standard. Anything less than an inch is junk. |

If the clutches seem to be ok sounds like a stripped hub.
