Enclosures
Hi all,
I am looking to purchase an enclosure for my 2007 St 480 workhorse. I have been looking on some websites and I have found there is are many different types, and as many different sellers. I want something well built and easy to use.it is starting to get chilly here now, and its time to get one. Does anyone have a few suggestions as to which style is good or bad, and what I should stay away from, and any suggestion as to who may have a good deal. After several hours of web surfing my eyes started to glaze over. Thanks Reggie |

Re: Enclosures
WOW! No replies! Oh well. I am in the same boat as you, need an enclosure. I use my cart pretty much only in the winter when it is below freezing. So I have also been looking and all the enclosures I see are plastic/vinyl and I would think not worth it for my use. I could see them being trash after part of a season. So I am going to build one myself.
Sorry I could not be more help, but if you use the cart in freezing temps, you may want to see if there is a local fab shop that could make something for you. Tom |

Re: Enclosures
Mine was made locally by an outfit that makes enclosures for fishing boats. The back and sides snap down on the body and in the summer the sides slide back like a shower curtain. Very durable and with the 36v. heater, keeps grandma going to soccer and spring baseball games.

Re: Enclosures
We are having the weather I had in mind when I made the first post. I have two young dogs that I take with me everywhere. I use the cart to do most of my local travel and an enclosed cart would be most useful during these winter months.
I have seen several types of enclosures, and some are quite expensive. The cost is one thing, but the quality is another. The small photo and description on a website at times tells a very different story. I have the ability to put something together, sometimes it can be easier just to buy something, however I did not want to buy junk. thought that maybe someone had one and it had served them well, and if so could point me in the right direction. Thanks ,Reggie |
