Is it better to put a 3pg piston in a 2pg
I have a 86 marathon that I'm rebuilding the top end it has the 2pg engine and I'm trying to figure out if it's better to use the two port 3pg piston instead if some one can shine some light on this that would be grate

It's been a while since we talked about that here. I had similar thoughts. I tried a lot of different things with my 2 pg. I don't believe it will work correctly because the jugs are ported differently. I thought about trying the 3pg jug and piston, but ended up going big block befor I got the chance.

Ya that's what I figured thanks for the help Il just stick to the stock piston. I originally wanted to go with the big block but I need reverse.
