81 2pg reed valve
Hi all, can someone tell me if an 81 2pg has a reed valve? If so, where is it located? Preparing to replace crank seals and just want to know if there's anything else I need to check. This puppy runs but seems to run out of fuel when reaching top rpms. thanks in advance

Re: 81 2pg reed valve
The reed Valves are where the intake manifold attaches to the engine.
I suppose they could get carboned up, but are not usually a problem. The problem areas are Crankshaft seals. Rings. Fuel pump diaphragms. Clogged carburetor. Clogged exhaust, but more rare than people think. |

Re: 81 2pg reed valve
Thanks cart around! I may check the reed but I think my issue is crank seals.
carb is clean and using gravity feed for fuel cause pump is shot. thanks again |
