Default "Older EZGO" with motor in pieces in a box + questions

You're right, a year would be helpful. I've emailed asking for one. That said how hard is a rebuild generally speaking or would I be better off just going with one of the Predator HF motors? I like to think I'm fairly handy once I get an understanding of the thing I'm working on.

Again, this gentleman is willing to give me a deal if I buy as-is.

Other questions:
How hard is it to take off a box and put on a folding rear seat?
If it's last generation, can new gen bodies be made to fit?
What do you recommend looking for when I go to look at it?
How hard is doing a lift myself/which do you recommend?

Thanks again for your time!

can you not find a serial number in the dash? do you know if it is two stroke or four stroke? The motor should have a name/size on it.... My 295 motor was in pieces in the bed of my cart when I bought it and I sent it to J and M golf carts - they said it being in pieces was no problem as long as everything was there and the case was not damaged.

I just made one good 295cc engine out of 2 broken engines. They're really not difficult to work on.
