Default Radio Installation on Gas EZGO 2013 TXT

I have recently modified a 2013 TXT Gas EZGO Cart. I followed the instruction on installing the radio and everything worked perfectly. When I drove the cart for the first time and had the radio playing I noticed that every time I accelerated, after coming to a stop, the radio would cut out briefly.

How can I prevent this from happening? I have grounded the radio and have the positive and negative running straight off the battery. Please advise.

I'm not positive, but it sounds to me like after you come to a stop, and step on the pedal to go again, the battery is pulling all the power to start the engine and get going. Much like a car, if you have the headlights on when you start the engine, the lights will dim for a moment until the engine is running. This is also why your car radio, heater blower and such will turn off when hitting the starter, It gives full power to the starter where it is needed.

Try a bigger battery.

I added a radio on my gas club car and with a larger battery I haven't had a issue with the radio cutting out.
