ignition switch replacement? Stock? other brand?

I need a new ignition switch and I was wondering two things:

1. if anybody could point me to a site similar to rockymtatv for looking up OEM parts or replacement parts that would be great. I'm talking in the format that you can look at a exploded parts diagram for different parts of the cart and possibly select parts and add them to your cart.

2. could I use a ignition key off of anything? i realize it basically needs an "on" and "off" I believe so in theory I could use any ignition switch? thinking of using a gator switch or something so that way people trying to slip their ezgo key into my cart can't drive off in it. There shouldn't be any reason this wont work correct?

You can use about any switch , my Honda ATV has a CAT switch in it for a bulldozer and work flawlessly and has for about 8 years .

thats what I was figuring, my old four wheeler had a john deere gator key switch because the yamaha ones were about $90.

I like using the Same key for all my stuff so I don't have to keep up with Atv , tractor and such keys , one key works on all my stuff .
Should be a fairly straightforward install .
