Thumbs down ignition question

I recently pulled the ignition switch on my 02 ezgo txt and did not photograph (I know, I know, dumb but i'm learning) and I had to (well didn't have to but I did anyway) guess at the connections cause I discovered my memory was no longer as good as I used to think it was, so now the cart starts when I turn the switch as opposed to stepping on the pedal. Is this bad? Any ideas as to what i did incorrectly? cart has had wiring revisions in the past obviously by people like me, so wire color at the switch means nothing to this cart.
