Default 295 Robin jet recommendations

Hey guys, I will be ordering a K&N intake for my TXT 295 Robin and was wondering if I should re-jet it also? If so, what size main jet should I get/drill? Here's the intake: https://www.ebay.com/itm/171843016395

Thanks for any help in advance.

I was talking to a guy that all he has and works on are TXT's I just got a body and several other things to do my 98 fire job. I asked him if he used a 350 carb on the 295 and he said no, all he did was to drill out the main with a .036 bit! He went to his carb drawer and got out a small case just to make sure it was .036 and I made sure to write it down. He said he found many of the issue with carbs problems were mostly solved by drilling the main jet. Hopefully someone here will concur or respond with there own recommendation.

Guys I need more performance as my 295 engine can't cope with 20 inch wheels up hills. Does anyone know what the K&N plus increased jets might achieve in terms of increased power? Will this be noisy?

Any other ways to increase power without replacing engine?

did you try it? and do you suppose you need to change the stock air filter before doing this to get some more air or if a stock air filter would work

No I haven't but I do plan on doing so as soon as I get my two up an running! These are the first gas golf carts I have ever done but I am an old school mechanic and being old school I used to work on cars with carbs!! we were always messing with jets and air/fuel mixtures to get the best out of those cars back then and we never replaced the air filter other than if it needed it due to being dirty. back in those days they didn't have k&n anything.
