Default Pls help me finish my 2000 EZGO TXT - Need more power!

Nearing completion of my cart restoration/improvement project. Live in a hilly golf cart community and this is for daily family use. Couldn't lift the cart as my wife found our last lifted cart unstable, but have fitted 20 inch wheels and HD rear leaf springs are on order.

Walnut dash, full length mirror and steering wheel were all nice cosmetic touches and were not expensive. Local cart shop does nice resprays and gets new decals from somewhere so this cart looks nice and new.

Only problem is the cart now struggles up the hills because of the 20 inch wheels and I need some help improving performance to finalize it. I'm a cart novice so may need a bit of detail in terms of what everything does.

On improving performance:

1. Have seen another post on a K&N intake. How much will this help with power? Is this the best intake on the market? Will it make the cart noisy (my wife will complain if so!).

2. Would a 350 Robins carb work or help? If not, should I re-jet my carb with a .036 bit?

3. On another thread someone suggested Shorter Belts and 28 degree driven clutch. Can you help me understand what this does? Does it change the gearing ratio and will it make the cart slower on the flat? Will it actually boost power, as I didn't think a clutch could do this?

4. Anything else I can do or change to get more power without swapping the engine out? No cars allowed in my community and so this is my main form of transport and I need to make it work.

If there is a good EZGO supplier who can talk this through with me and sell all the bits I need then this would be ideal. Please recommend to me if poss.

Thanks in advance.
