Question Ez Go St4x4 rear end whine when under load

I have been working on a 2006 St 4x4. Knew it had issues when I bought it. Had a bad rear end. Bought a new front pumpkin from Ez Go (only way to get all parts needed). All parts cross over from front to back except the spider gears that are inside the ring gear carrier. I swapped these in from my original rear end (about the only good parts left). It only whines under load. Wheel bearings,brakes,trans/transfer case have all been gone through with out any issues (after worn/broken parts were replace). I have been into this three times, no metal in oil, or in bottom of carrier. Has anyone been through this before?

Built a few truck rear ends. Never worked on one for an ezgo. Do not know what they look like for your year. Post some pictures? Assuming cv axles to a center pumpkin.
Not a solid axle with pipe tubes? A bent tube can through off the alignment and whine.

Spider gears usually will not make them howl going straight if your tires are the same size. Only turning.

Some rear ends whine badly. I do not know if it is normal for yours or not. My teryx sounds like its screaming all the time. Just normal. Also new gears can sometimes be noisy until they wear in a little if they are roughly machined.

Take a look at the gears and you should be able to see the wear pattern on them.
Should be dead center of the teeth. Off to one side you need to move the shims to center it or too deep the pinion needs shims. Too far out pinion needs less shims.
The tips of the teeth should have zero wear!! If they do the pinion is too tight.
Did you mic the gears back lash and run out?

In a truck rear end the caps that mount the carrier look interchangeable but are not!
They are machined to one side and one direction only. Make absolutely sure you have the correct side mounted and direction.

If the above checks out, Did you reuse the rear casing?
If you did you might need to check it for bends, cracks, or warping?

The housing is new. Axles bolt to the sides of the housing. Thanks for the info on what to look at for ring, and pinion depths. I think this where my problem is. Factory assembles these, and shop manual show one shim for pinion, and one shim on left side of ring gear bearing (with no options for adjustments), and that's how it was assembled. Thanks for the input.
