Default 89 ezgo gas hei conversion

I just completed the hei,i lost some power switched red and blue it's grounded,any other suggestions

You replaces the coil also? Or are you running the stock coil?

Hmmmmm did you increase the gap of the plug? Mine worked at the stock gap but I've read on other posts of people having to go up to .035. Is it running well just lacking power?

You got polarity right at the coil? The picture was a little hard to see in the sticky I know....I'm not sure if it runs with the polarity reversed or not, just throwing ideas out. What was the reason you did the mod? Wondering if there was a underlying condition.

Let's see if someone has more info on the HEI mod.....I'm not sure that's causing your lack of power, did you by chance check the top end compression?
