Help removing cooling fan!
Hi Everyone, I am having a hard time removing this fan from an 89 ez go. It has a metal cooling fan, not a plastic like all the other ones I have seen. I already broke a piece off trying everything I can think of. I need to remove it to do the crank seals and this has me at a standstill. Any advice would be appreciated!

Re: Help removing cooling fan!
What are the 4 holes next to the crankshaft? Are they threaded?

Re: Help removing cooling fan!
4 holes should be threaded -if not thread two. Install nut to press against with puller NOT end of shaft.

Re: Help removing cooling fan!
yes the 4 holes are threaded. I have a steering wheel puller that looks like it might work. I guess I will need to get some long bolts and try it. They are just pretty small holes so I thought the bolts might break. I will give it a shot thought, I have already tried everything else I can think of. Thanks for the help!

Grade 8 Bolts flat washer - thread on nut and press against nut only.
