Default 2005 EZ GO will not quit beeping

I have a 2005 EZGO gas cart and my cart will not quit beeping. I believe there must be a short somewhere in the wire. I would like to completely make this quit. I am not the most savy with wiring, but there are 2 connections at each battery terminal. I have to remove both off of one terminal to get the beeping to quit. So I am not sure which wire is which. I have located the small box that the beeping is coming from and to the best of my memory there are wires going in and out of it. Any help is appreciated.

The micro for the reverse buzzer has probably failed or is stuck. Look at the switch and make sure the arm is moving when it shifts..

Well I am confused.. The reverse buzzer on a Gas 2005 ezgo in most cases is round and attached to the shift tower right next to the shifter assembly itself. Will have 2 wires total going into it. It is controlled by the rotating assembly that moves when you shift from Forward to Reverse. Where is your box ?

Nevermind. I see what you mean. I moved the shifter but I didn't notice any thing other than that. It was dark though. I will check again today when I get off work.

Better yet I will get you a picture. Thanks for your help.
