I did something really dumb
I have fluorescent lights on one side of my garage that I leave on all of the time.
Last night, I parked the cart under them around 7 and got ready for work. When I pulled in from work this morning, I noticed that it was brighter than normal over there, but didn't think much about it. I got on the cart a little bit ago, and noticed that the wall was really bright. That's when I realized that I had left on the LED spotlights all night. I was really surprised that the cart fired up with no problem after sitting there for 22 hours with the lights on. You have to love LED lights. I might start thinking about a light up switch so that doesn't happen again. |

Maybe you should replace the fluorescents in the garage with LEDs too.

Re: I did something really dumb
I have been seriously studying that. You can leave the ballast, or remove it if it's bad. The led works either way. They converted a hallway at work that is seriously bright now. I'm just watching for the right deal on bulbs.

I converted one unit while waiting for UPS, so I was ready to go. All I can say is, spectacular. |

Re: I did something really dumb
We did the same thing.
I put two small LED light bars on the back of ours for backing up onto our trailer in the dark. Well, it got left in reverse and the battery cut off switch wasn't flipped. It sat like that for about a week. I opened the trailer and realized the lights were on. Thought she had it out earlier. Jumped on it and it fired right up. No issues. |
