Pyle Marine Grade Radios
Does anyone have any experience with the Pyle brand of marine radios.
I am looking at installing a radio in my cart and know I want marine grade. There are several on Amazon but the price is relativly low for a radio so I'm not sure of the quality. I only need a radio for some enjoyment while using the cart, I'm not looking for one to blast the neighborhood with. This one is all in one without having to install speakers, probably all I need, reviews are good. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B010NSC0AQ...I3IQQLGF1ULTDU Maybe a little higher end and has speakers to install. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000MXTIM6...GAZ2CXBH&psc=1 Or should I go with something more like this that will probably be much better quality and last longer? https://www.amazon.com/Kenwood-Bluet...ne+grade+radio Just curious what others experience and opinions are. |

Re: Pyle Marine Grade Radios
I installed a Pyle head-unit in an old pontoon. Its not fancy but works great. The screen on mine has faded over time, but we primarily use aux plugs in our phones so no issue. If your not expecting a $800 sound quality then I would bet you will like it.

I put this in my 2007 Club Car. Works great and love the blue-tooth on it.

Re: Pyle Marine Grade Radios
Did you install it in the ball holder?

A lot of people do mount it in the ball holder, you can always use a external box and mount below the cup holder as well. I did away with a normal radio with CD and just did a small radio with bluetooth and amp control. The unit is only like 3" deep and it does everything I need, I mounted mine in the glove box area. I'm wanting to mount it in the ball holder, since the cart will never see a golf course again, the ball holder is just an ugly spot on the dash.

Re: Pyle Marine Grade Radios
Sorry if I offended you. All that I am saying is that don't expect high quality out of lower priced units. I have had experience with Pyle products in the past and have not been impressed at all, not to say that you may be happy with them.
Good luck! |
