81 2pg fuel pump question
I need to know how to tell which direction the fuel pump bolts on for a 81 2pg ezgo. I didn't look closely enough when I pulled the old one off. there is one fitting that is vertical and one is about a 45deg. angle. does it matter which one goes to the tank?

There are arrows on top of the pump that show direction of flow.
