Default 295 cc carb

does anyone know where the small black hose on the passenger side of the carb goes? thought it was a vent but gas pours out when it runs and i cant see another place to put it in.( pre 94 295 cc robin)

There are 2 vent tubes on the carb and 1 fuel suppy line. The one on your carb is probably the bowl vent, the float valve is probably not shutting off the supply (do to dirt or trash) and it's overflowing out the vent.

Yeah, those 2 little tubes just hang down, they don't connect to anything. Sounds like you need a good carb cleaning.

I have the same carb. It was dirt/trash under the float needle in my case. Cleaned it with carb cleaner and reassembled and it was good to go.
