1999 EZGO Workhorse parts
I'm looking for accessories for a 1999 workhorse ST Sport. I need the metal piece that the seat back and rear canopy struts attach to the frame with. Don't know what it's called and have no idea where to look. Also wondering about the possibility of a rear seat instead of the dump bed? Not sure if that exists.

I don't think they make a back seat kit for the ST Sports,
you might have to buy one for a TXT, I think the back of the seats brackets would be the same but you would have to be creative mounting the bottom of the back seat. |

Re: 1999 EZGO Workhorse parts
If this is a short body workhorse the frame is pretty much a TXT with a different skin. The pieces you asked about are call supports 74126G01 and 74126G02. But if you can get a rear seat kit you may not need these. Look next to where the shocks mount and see if there is a threaded hole. If yes look closer towards the front about 12 inches and see if there are matching holes. If yes, that is where a standard seat mount bolts and where a rear seat kit would mount..

Re: 1999 EZGO Workhorse parts
Thanks kgsc. I haven't bought it yet, waiting to see what I could do with it. If I put a txt rear seat on, will the footrest work or will I have to fanagle where the bag-well is in a txt?

Re: 1999 EZGO Workhorse parts
a TXT body is a drop-on as long as You remove the rear frame add-on that the Workhorse 800 / ST series use - the frame actually IS a TXT frame, they just bolt on a rear frame section "add-on" to support the box and add Workhorse fenders and a short 3pc steel body front. Of note, if You swap to a TXT body You will need to pick up a set of seat supports for the seat back, the ST/Workhorse 800 ones won't fir w a standard TXT body

BrewCityMusic, so I'm guessing that a TXT rear flip seat would work but the foot plate would have to be rigged? Maybe?

Re: 1999 EZGO Workhorse parts
Ok, been told by a local that this workhorse is an 800 and txt seat will fit with few modifications. Is this true or is the guy trying to sell me a seat.
