Speculation please?
First of all thanks to everyone for all the help I have received in the past. After owning "Izzy" for a year and a half I am now beginning to understand why there is no simple answers
 Here is my most current question: I have ordered a new driven clutch because the old one had a sheave that was so weak I could manipulate it by hand. I am 100% certain that this weak sheave is allowing the belt to drop down inside the two sheaves thereby screwing up gear ratio. My question for speculation is...."how much difference do you think this could make"? The belt drops down inside the clutch 1/2" to 3/4" but I don't know how much this would throw the gear ratio off given I have 22" tires. |

I knew the instant I opened the new clutch that it had a good chance of helping, it was much stronger and the sheaves were slightly closer together.
It made a noticeable difference! |
