That would do it. That long gated whole near center of rotation would be about a full notch off at the belt.

That's most likely you issue.

So the notch that is cut all the way threw is where the cam shaft center pin goes I can't find a pic the shows the pin side , I could repair I just need to know where the cam shaft alignment pin hole should be - these things are like $160 new

This is what mine looks like. As you can see the pin aliens with the small whole on the top. Cam timing is very critical in making the engine run correctly!
I am sure someone on here has one they will sell you for cheep, or maybe E-bay

Does your gear have 551 stamped at the bottom? Mine does

Whats the best way to look for parts on here ?

I just went out and looked at it again I bet its more then a tooth off and the center hole is real sloppy no matter how tight I get it , it moves right back
This all started with it blowing out the carburetor when I put it on it runs for 2 hrs then goes to hell

I just did a search on E bay and didn't come up with one!

Last resort, would be a repair. Weld it and drill or maybe put it on and JB weld?
Looks like all the slack is on one side of the gear, The pin is directly in line with the small whole on the top of the gear.

Save yourself some time, money, and trouble, toss that old pulley in the trash and buy a good used one, or new if you can't find good used.
