Default New from NJ

Hello!! New to the forum and thought I would share what I have got and been doing. My "addiction" started with a 2001 EZGO I purchased last year. Somewhat beat up but mechanically well maintained. Picked it up for 1200.00. We use it in a campground that we have a seasonal sight in. It served us well under heavy use. I decieded after seeing some of the other carts in the camp ground that I wanted to do some "minor updates" over the winter. I have attached pics showing what the cart looked like after I tore it down and where it stands as of now. As you will see the minor update has become major... I have replaced everything but the drivetrain!!!

The theme is "The Red Baron". My wife loves Snoopy so I had a custom body done. I am waiting on the roof top to come back from paint. I will be installing an overhead stereo with XM. There is undercarrige led lights controlled by remote. 4" lift with 12" ITP SS rims. I have also added the carbon fiber dash and steering wheel and some diamond plate goodies. I replaced the stock shocks with gas which improved the ride nicely.

I have gotten a wealth of knowledge off this forum and would like to thank everyone. The search has worked great and I found almost everything I had a question about!!

Thanks!! I had Deckers Garage do the work. The quality is fantastic and the pricing was very reasonable!

Yes lol a few minor upgrades... It was originally going to be a lift, knobby tires and a back yard paint job .

Once I tore into it and found this forum that was it. I was hooked. One good thing was I think I removed about 30lbs of dirt off the cart

I noticed that you have a 350 robins motor, did you put it in or was it original to the cart? If you upgraded, is there a big difference between the 295 and 350? I am a motor head at heart and I am thinking about pulling the 295. Though I really don't need it the stocker is running good... Just somethig about more power!!!

I'm told that a 1992 marathon did not come with a 350cc in it. That it came with a 295. I purchased it 2nd or 3rd hand. It had the 350 in it when I bought it.

I just put a 295cc head on with a bigger carb from an onan generator and modded the exhaust. Also installed a 28 deg ramp and buttons. I am very pleases with the results, it's a big difference from what it was. I still have to tune it in a little better, but I'm very happy
