Default Engine will not turn over

2002 Workhorse 1200 GLX had no problems until it wouldn't start, turned over, but not start. Started checking ignition wires and cleaning connections. After checking 4 pin connector near solenoid, the starter would no longer spin. Removed and replaced solenoid, have 12 volts + through micro switch and ignition switch, and back to solenoid. Have 12 volts to starter and coil. Tried jumping with car but no spin. Tried jumping A & B solenoid post but it only clicks. Looks like wiring matches diagram in Ez-Go manual.

Thank you. I suspected the starter but can't find any testing procedurs. I did check the brushes and they are fine, about 3/4 inch above wear line. Are there any test procedures or bench test available. I still suspect an electrical problem over mechanical.

If you checked the positive and negative connections on the starter, and when you pushed on the gas, those terminals received 12 volts and the starter did not turn over, its the starter. It would mean you have power going all the way to that point.

Thanks again. Further testing revealed intermittent 12 volts to starter. Tried tightening the positive side terminal of battery and found it was stripped out. Installed larger bolt after cleaning and it started. Will replace battery.
