Default 2002 TXT rear suspension question

I was putting on heavy duty leaf springs on my 2002 Gas TXT and I was having a terrible time lining up the leaf spring and shock plate. Anyways I was tightening down the ISO mount cap and it snapped. Cheap metal! Anyways I was wondering why they didn't use U bolts. I mean they use them for the electric TXT carts. My question is can I use those U bolts that are for the electric TXTs or is the rear axles different sizes? Or is there another reason? Help!

You can use U bolts but need a part that sits on the axle (that's U shaped to fit the axle tube) that the spring sits on. Like the 2 parts here on each side of the U bolts and you need the rounded U bolts that fits the axle rather than the squared off ones, All Sports might sell them to you.

I ended up getting a stock replacement part. Installed it last night and it's fine. Not a fan of the factory set up given the stock shock plate would not line up with the aftermarket heavy duty leaf springs.

Well now, with the heavy duty springs I feel every **** bump in the road. I'm guessing the shocks are shot? Any idea's. It's almost as if it's bouncing. Now when my kids were on the back seat I did not notice it.

So that is normal? Would new shocks help? The original ones are still on it and its a 2002.
