runs on
gas ezgo 840 marathon golf cart, starter motor keeps turning engine after key switch is turned off, changed solenoid no help

Your pedal switch, and key switch should be wired in series. Both of them have to be making contact to power the solenoid.
Both of them being stuck shut sounds really weird, and unlikely. I'm wondering if the control circuit is picking up power from another source. |
