Re: starter keeps on running after key switch turned off
Seen this problem on Yamahas the voltage regulator is normally the issue It will back feed the system try unhooking it and see what it does

Re: starter keeps on running after key switch turned off
first thing I would do is pull the ignition panel and make sure I do not have 12 volt power there it should be only ground on the back of the ignition switch the only power on that panel is for the fuel gauge if you have a fuel gauge if all is good there pull the cover off the solenoid on the left side of the solenoid there is two wires connected to the terminals on the solenoid I think on most of the ezgos I work on one wire should be green and one red take a voltage meter and see if you are getting voltage there if you are getting 12 volts to the side of the solenoid then remove both wires there see wich one is giving voltage on my carts the green wire is the trigger from petal switch if it is showing constant voltage then you have a petal switch problem your petal switch may have went bad what is confusing me is that you say it is turning over with the key off did this problem start before or after you replaced the solonoid
