How much for used 295cc Robins??

Ok, I really hate to ask this on here...but I've done some research and the prices for these things are all over the place!! I just recently did a Vegas Carts 460cc big block engine swap into my 99 EZ Go TXT and now have the old Robins 295cc engine that I am thinking about selling. I just have no idea what to ask for it! I've seen anywhere from $500-1200 on ebay for these. Mine runs perfect/strong and comes with motor, clutch and full exhaust (still mounted), High torque drive belt, K&N intake and filter, starter generator belt, coil, and motor mount brackets (also still in tact). Also includes bracket for governor linkage, choke cable, and some various hardware. It does NOT come with starter generator and a few nuts and bolts that were re-used to install my new motor (i.e. u bolts for rear axle motor mount, front two frame bolts for front motor mount, and starter/gen bolt). Any input on what this is worth??

Around here, a running pre-MCI with good compression (when they're available on Craigslist, etc) is a $200-250 engine, with clutch $300-350. Given that You have the exhaust, linkage, etc all together I would venture $350-400 isn't an unfair price on either side of the transaction, it would have been better if You'd have checked the compression prior to disassembly so You could give actual numbers to the potential buyer, without them You're looking pretty much at the lowest end "core-value"

Cool thanks. Yeah I know others don't know but I know the compression is good (should have checked to put numbers up) and I'm only really looking to sell locally. Therefore if somebody isn't happy with it, I'll gladly give their money back and keep it. I'm still not 100% sure I wanna sell it yet. Gotta see if I really like this 460cc clone yet or not! But thanks for the info!

I just seen it on Craigslist. I will see if my mom would want to get it for a spare for her Ezgo refresher/marathon thing that has 295 robins.haha.

yeah man let me know! I'm actually coming to SML this weekend, Sun-Tues to hang with some friends and do a lil wakeboarding.
