Default Starter generator brush kit/ 79 EZgo

Having trouble finding a brush kit for my 79 ezgo/ I ordered a set that said it was for my year and when they showed up not even close to the right size.
Anyone know where I can find some?
Robin engine model ec25ds.

Can you read any numbers on the starter itself?

Vintage golf cart parts. Part number br22-000 $59.37 for the set. I really wish they would become a sponsor, so I could post the link.

Not really any numbers to look at being it's all in the engine under the fly wheel.
Looked up that part number and they are the right size. Thanks a lot for the info.

Have you tried to file you old brushes, if not worn to short?

If the brushes you have are two large, You can file them to fit! They just need to slide freely in their holder and the spring needs to hold them to the armature. They are not a high Tec item! they only carry current to the armature.

And $59 for a set of brushes is nuts!!
