2000 TXT Alignment
Need to align my front toe in/out on my 2000 txt series cart. Do I need to loosen both ends of each tie rod to get the rod to turn forward or backwards? I have loosened one side and the **** tie rod would not turn either direction. Anyone experience this before? Could it possibly be I was not applying enough force to get it to move? Cart was lifted with tires off the ground.

Re: 2000 TXT Alignment
Well they act as jam nuts so yes you have to loosen both sides

Re: 2000 TXT Alignment
I would loosen all 4 lock nuts, (they are left hand threads on one end, right hand the on other end) and when
adjusting try to keep them the same length or you will have short steering one way or the other. also notice there is a flat spot on the center of the tube for a wrench to break the loose. |
