How to determine year of cart
Recently purchased a fixer upper. First cart and from what I know it's an EZGO TXT best guess is the year is around 2002. This is from comparing to a friends. I know 2001.5 they changed some things so we need to determine year but I can't find anything with the serial/model number. The tag that's supposed to be in the dash has been ripped off. Any ideas where else to look? Or how to tell the year but parts/modifications. It's currently stripped down and my husband checked the frame but didn't see a stamp anywhere. Possible he missed it though. Thanks

3 bolt steering column usually is pre 2001. Look on top of the frame rail next to the right rear tire and see if there is a number engraved there.

So no luck with the number on the frame. It does have 3 bolts on the steering column. Any other ideas?

Early steering = 2001.5 and before
First tan roof 2001 (i think) My guess early 2001. |

That air filter box was used up until 05-06 and I have seen that steering on an 05 cart but who knows. As it is a gas cart it really doesn't matter. The only parts that are different are for the suspension and yours is the older style.
