87 2pg driven clutch buttons
I have finally gotten my cart up and ripping.. the sad part is that it is painfully slow on hills. Engine is completely rebuilt (bored and honed jug, .50 mm over piston, new crank bearings, new crank seals, shaved head changing compression from 6.5:1 to 9:1, cleaned casting and verified good port mapping, plus lots more), also installed a bv24 carb and built a 2 stroke exhaust that utilizes an expansion chamber. This thing will go crazy down hills. Almost scary fast. I think I have some fueling issues compounding my problem (carb fuel screw setting?), but my clutch needs help. All of the buttons are almost gone or are completely flat. Has anyone made their own buttons? $10-$18 each seems like highway robbery....
I will stop rambling now. Thanks for the insight! |
