Gas EZGo....just stopped....

This happened a few months ago, just getting time to work on it.

I was driving along, and just lost power...full of gas. Had run from the day I got it before that, had used it all that morning w/o any issues.

So, by the way it died, I suspected the fuel pump. Got a new one off eBay, replaced it...nothing.

So, I put a spark detector in-line with the spark plugs, didn't get any light...so I figured my coil died....replaced that. Still nothing.

Have checked all wiring, nothing changed since it just died....looking for suggestions!

A little more info would help like what year.

Battery is newish....13.2 Volts fully charged.

I will have to dig around and find out what year, it is a 295 cc motor?

Did you check fuses?

Only aware of one... Where would other fuses be located?

I am reluctant to try and clean up the wiring until I figure out root cause.

Sounds like you still have no spark? Plug wires? Ignitor maybe?

And the wiring might be your root cause, so it wouldnt hurt to check it out and make sure you dont have a bad connector or bad ground somewhere....

If you can find an ID plate/tag it would help. There are two basic versions of that 295 cc two cylinder engine. Both used a magnetic pick up by the flywheel (exciter or pulsar), a module under the black control box cover and the ignition coil - but the part #'s and prices vary quite a bit depending on the year.
