Installing a drive clutch
Hello I am installing a drive clutch on the crankshaft of a 2pg engine I see that the shaft is tapered and no keyway is there an adhesive that is used in order to stop slipping of the clutch or will torquing it down alone hold it without the use of adhesive ,,,,from what im reading the torque is 40 to 44 ft pounds is this correct .thanks for any help with this

Re: Installing a drive clutch
Use nothing it's important the shaft and clutch are clean and dry the tapper holds it on torque it and forget about it anything that's slick will allow clutch to slide on shaft easy to far in and can split the clutch
