Default Tired Robin 350

I have a 2003 Workhorse with the Robin 350. I was planing on a motor swap, but what do I do with the tired 350? Compression is a little over half (90) of what it should be(155). I have set the valves several times and they won't seem to stay. Is it worth rebuilding and holding onto as a spare or what is it worth to help offset the cost of the new motor ?

If you can afford it, put it to the side and big block it.
I bet then you’ll sell it after the swap is done

That's the plan, I just hope it's not just a boat anchor when I get done.

Nah, someone would want it to upgrade their cart unless a rod went through the block

Is it a mci or pre-mci engine & asking price?

I'm not quite sure what denotes mci vs pre mci.

One visual difference is the pre-mci engine has a bolt on cast iron exhaust manifold where the mci exhaust manifold is part of the cylinder head.

Looks like it's a pre-mci
