Robin 295cc New Carb, backfire
Just got carb replaced, and having backfire issue -- this was done at local shop, when i look at the carb, seems there should be a spacer or defuser or something between carb and engine -- i'm not sure and i can't find anything on line .. just don't seem right to have metal on metal... any ideas .. i'm just a girl but getting very aggravated w/my local repair folks.

Patti, "IF" .. it back fires when you let up on the peddle it's more than likely the throttle plate not closing all the way, adjust linkage and make sure the idle set screw is all the way out. (or just throw it a way)
