Default 90ezgo gas 2 stroke

Hi, I am new to this awesome cart site. I have been reading on here all day, & i have a question about performance and all that stuff. I have one question, I am putting a 5" lift and 22" tires on my 1990 Ezgo Marathon 2 stroke, i was wondering what is going to happen to speed and performance with the bigger wheels and tires. I have already adjusted the govenor as much as it will go(and i must say that it hauls *** now). Do I need to put Hi perf clutches on it, or should I put the lift one and figure it out from there. I would perfer to do it all at the same time. Any comments would be great

I would put the lift and tires on and go from there. Everyone has a different perception of how good a cart runs, and what is good. The bigger tires will and more speed to it. The motor has to have the torque to pull them. That can often be fixed with a shorter belt. So go for it and then tweak / adjust from there.
