You would really have to want to something the hard way to try. What is your purpose? Replacing a worn out engine?

I agree w Rooster - WHY?!? The engine that came with the cart (Robin 350) is a bulletproof, smooth-running, powerful engine as long as the standard maintenence is done IE oil, filter, clean out the shroud every year or so, etc ... CT Rebuilds can rebuild that 350 to Factory Spec for $599 *or* turn it into a 16.5hp (from the 11 it started as) for $675 - best "Bang for the Buck" upgrade out there, we've installed dozens of them and the difference is amazing plus they will run forever.

Again though, You may have a reason we aren't aware of, more details would help. That swap is going to completely suck for the uninitiated, the 1200 used the engine block itself as part of the swingarm/cradle so You're going to be starting with a whole new one that can accept a G-series engine (plenty of fab work) plus the ignition systemis incompatible so there's an entirely NEW can of worms unless You have the Yamaha motor AND harness, components, etc - THEN You're going to have belt issues IE finding one that works with however things are put together, the exhaust location is totally different so now You'll have to modify the cradle or weld up something that might work to use the original exhaust ... And You'll end up after all that work with less HP than the stock 350 motor had plus the "thud thud thud" of a one-cylinder as versus the smooth purr of a twin.

There are more hurdles, that's just the first few that come to mind - not to say it can't be done but again, what's the logic, your needs may exceed the obvious shortcomings
