EZ-GO ST4x4 Front CV Axle Shaft Availability (broken beyond a rebuild)

Hey everyone,

We own and operate a local repair facility and one of our customers has a 04 EZGO ST4x4. While it's supposed to be 'only' used for snowplowing the sidewalks of the mall, it magically gets beat up and broken pretty hard every year.

This year is no different, as they've managed to explode the passenger side FRONT cv axle. Now by explode I don't mean break the cage and clip, I mean break the housing it is in.

I've been in a pretty exhaustive search the last couple of days attempting to find a replacement axle (even got one from ebay which ended up being wrong) but have only come up with rebuild kits.

Just curious as to if anyone knows a place I can get them from, or has any leads on where to repair them with (again I need the entire outer shaft piece that goes into the hub)

An internet search turned up nothing for me. Given that, you may try contacting an EZGO certified dealer in your area. Also, check for golf cart "boneyards" in your area as well. We have one about 1 1/2 hours from me and they have a ton of stuff. It's kind of like a pick-a-part for carts. Dealer can probably get what you need but it will NOT be cheap!
