Hello,

I finally found out what was wrong with engine, Broken Rod and damaged Crank. I'm looking for a used Crank in good condition. Rebuilding cart for local little league and funds are limited.

Are you sure the crank is bad? If it has melted aluminium built up on it you can use acid to clean that off. Alot of times they will look bad but when cleaned up, they are fine. They are harden steel and made to survive rod failure.

I agree with ruredy...I had a briggs dual bearing crank that had aluminum deposits stuck to the crank. I polished it out and took it to the machine shop and they put a micrometer on it and said it was good to go.
