Default rear wheel wobble on 2001 ezgo txt gas

hello,

I bought some new wheels and noticed the rear wheel wobbling bad while driving. At first I thought it was my new wheel but then I jacked the cart up and checked for play in the hub/axle and sure enough it was loose.

Does anyone know what I need to replace? Is there a simple bearing that i have to install?

Here is a video of the issue

Pull the wheel off there will be a castle nut with a cotter pin going through it take the pin out and take the nut off and inspect the hub these are notorious for stripping out the spline in the hub and inspect them if it's worn I'd replace the hub it lf the splines look good torque the nut to at least 75 lbs or little tighter until your holes line up to put the pin in

Thanks for the reply. I took the castle nut off but the drum will not come off. Gonna go rent a puller from autozone and try that next.

I put the new drum on. Good news is that the tire doesn't have play but the bad news is that the wheel still wobbles. I think the axle itself is bent. Anyone know if a machine shop can straiten it out for me or should i just pony up and buy a new axle? The new one's are like $175 which seems crazy high.

If you're SURE the axle itself is bent, I would not try to have it straightened. It will never be as strong. Just have to pony up for a new one to be on the safe side. Pull it first before you order parts though. I hate to see folks waste their hard earned money. Just my two pennies! Good luck P10!

What else could it possibly be besides the axle? There is nothing else holding the hub on and that is new.
