Battery draw

I am having a draw on the battery, when I hook the ground from the neg. ground on the back of my forward and reverse switch to the terminal on the solenoid, it kills the battery. If I unhook the wire the cart will not start and it continues to keep going when you let off the pedal. but if I hook it up it will start and run just fine but has a draw on it.

We need to know what model/year your cart is before we can go any further. With this information we can direct you to the correct wiring diagram and start to diagnose your issue.
If you can find a manufacturing code on a plate or sticker that will be great. Usually found inside a glove compartment or below the dash somewhere, also look at the frame below the seat for anything with a number on it. You should find a manufacturing code and a serial number. The manufacturing code will be the most useful as we can date it from this. also what style of body it has, plastic? metal? Is the front panel just metal or metal and plastic? is the engine two stroke or four stroke (how many spark plugs). any of this info will get us started.

We will have to wait for someone else to join in as i do not have a digram for that model and am not familiar with it. Sorry but i cant help at the moment. If i get chance i will search for the diagram and see if i can help if nobody else pops in.
