96 EZGO TXT blown motor?
Hey All,
Had a bit of a problem today with my 96 TXT. Stupid mistake, but I think it ran out of oil. Well, pretty sure I ran it out of oil. I checked the oil and it didn't register on the dipstick. Now it barely runs and seems a bit loud and clangy. Anyway, looking for what to do next... - Can I buy a short block and just bolt it on? - Is there any other option for getting a replacement engine (used from somewhere)? - Or is the best bet to rebuild the engine and how hard is that to do? I've done it before on a jeep with help from my grandpa, but he knew what he was doing. Anyway, just looking to understand what kind of cost I'm in for and what the best route is to take. Thanks for any help you can provide. |
