Default Gas in intake tube

I am having some trouble with my cart not running right. It will run fine on the flats but when you go up a hill or put load on it, the engine bogs really bad.
I took the intake hose off and there is gas in it. The compression is 120 psi, so I do not think the reeds are worn, causing blow back.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

You might want to try a valve adjustment,

It's a 2 stroke, no valves.

When you say intake hose. What are you talking about? Air intake hose ? If it has fuel/ gas in it, that's blow back. You can take the reed cage off and check them easy enough. The slightest wear will mess up a 2 stroke.

Pull the muffler and check the exhaust port for carbon build up, then run it, If it runs better you need to cook the carbon and sludge out of the muffler.

Gas is in the intake hose from the air filter. If the compression is high would the reeds still be an issue?
It does run a lot better without the muffler. Working on the BBQ.
