Cool TXT 2001 randomly 'dies' will not start *new solenoid *new fuel filter

Hey folks!

I have an EZGO TXT 2001 and this guy is causing me some headache. I keep the cart in storage over the winter and only use it April- October at work.

The cart was working fine, but all of a sudden, from park to pushing on the pedal, nothing would spark. I first assumed it was the battery, so I swapped that out and it started up. But then again, from park to start, nothing.

I found that if I would let off the park brake and push the cart giving it some momentum AND THEN pushing the pedal while rolling, it starts.

I was using this "push to start" method for a bit but it became increasingly worse, I am nervous to continue doing this, and i need to fix this issue.

The cart has a new battery, new solenoid and new fuel filter.

Thanks for being great!

Check the brushes in your starter.

Either starter/ generator or the solenoid is bad and it's not recharging your battery. If it's doing it from a full charge on the battery it has to be the S/G.
