Default 1987 ezo gas marathon question.

Where is the best place to find obsolete engine parts? I am looking for piston pin spacers for a 244 cc Robins engine. thanks

I'm looking at page H-11, and don't see any spacers for the wrist pin.

The only ones I know of are on the crankshaft.

I believe he is talking about the spacers for the needle bearing(4) on page H-11

I would call those needle bearing end caps. I see two different sources sell just the bearing.

Are the old ones still stuck in the piston where the can't be seen?

one was broke when I tore the engine down, and the other vanished.

has anyone tried using shims instead of the caps? I believe that older polaris snow mobiles
used a 244 cc engine would those spacers be the same?

Found a pic of when I was reassembling mine, I was thinking the new bearing kit included new end caps but after looking at the one shown I'm not sure now. And of course I don't remember cuz I'm old, ughhh.....But the pic will give you an idea what they look like.

I'd say call wherever you're going to buy a new bearing and ask

Kit don't come with them. Really have no idea where you can find them unless someone has a parts engine.

I see that Grainger has something called ntn bearing end caps in several sizes. You could also have a machine shop make them.
